She is a tenured entrepreneur with varied skills across implementation of strategic initiatives for corporate and association clients, event design and architecture, logistics management, Her extensive experience of two and a half decades in the meetings industry enables her to give strategic insight on key aspects to associations on membership development, international bidding, marketing and promotions with the objective of enhancing revenues and delegate engagement.

Most recently, Ms. Sarkar has launched Unmukt Festival, India’s first mega event for seniors, in Hyderabad in December, 2018. #UnmuktFestival. This was born out of a desire to contribute to building a movement and community to enhance the quality of life of seniors. This year Unmukt Festival is being held across 3 cities. Her focus is to bring Unmukt Festival to various cities across the country to provide Solutions for Seniors.
